This was mentioned during a video conference with Raul Gupta, Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy at the White House, as reported by the Chinese news agency Xinhua on Wednesday.
He added that both sides should adhere to the correct strategic vision, treat each other as equals, engage in dialogue and cooperation, and promote steady and long-term cooperation in drug control and law enforcement, in order to better respond to the aspirations of both peoples and demonstrate responsibility as major countries. Wang also expressed hope that the American side would show more sincerity in cooperation and respect China's concerns and address them.
Wang noted that under the strategic guidance of the leaders of both countries, cooperation between China and the United States in drug control has made positive progress over the past year, and both sides agreed to continue maintaining cooperation and exchanges in this field.
